Conference Fees

In response to the world-wide financial crises and the subsequent cuts also of travel budgets at universities we have reduced the conference fees. This will in particular apply to the early registration fees and the student fees. Differences in fees that have already been paid will be refunded at the conference.

Early registration fees (until 31 December 2009):
General fee: 175.-
Member* fee: 150.-
Student fee: 75.-
Student member* fee: 50.-

Late registration fees (from 1 January 2010):
General fee: 250.-
Member* fee: 200.-
Student fee: 100.-
Student member* fee: 75.-

*Members/delegates of WAC, ANCBS and co-operating partner organizations.

Members/delegates forward a proof of their membership to archaeology@interconvention.at.

Students must forward a proof of their status to archaeology@interconvention.at.

The registration fee includes:
- Welcome reception
- Entry to all conference sessions each day
- Access to exhibitions and displays
- Daily morning and afternoon refreshments and lunch snack
- 2nd reception (mid congress or farewell)
- Conference materials including program and book of abstracts
- Guided tour: Vienna International Center - Vienna UNO-City

Accompanying person's fee: € 75.-
The accompanying person’s registration fee includes:
- Welcome reception
- 2nd reception (mid congress or farewell)
- Guided tour: Vienna International Center – Vienna UNO-City

Please note that accompanying persons may not attend scientific sessions, present a paper or be a co-author.

Cancellation refund policy on registration fees:
Until 31 December, 2009: 90% Refund
From 1 January until 28 February, 2010: 50% Refund
After 1 March, 2010: No Refund

Please note that money will not be refunded until after the conference.
